Perfect Picnics in Primrose Hill

The Camden Gazzette reports that chef of a top Camden restaurant has voted Primrose Hill the best place in London for a picnic.

Ian Pengelley, head chef at Gilgamesh pan-Asian restaurant at the Stables Market in Chalk Farm Road, Chalk Farm, has also offered tips for a great picnic.

He said: "My favourite picnic spot is Primrose Hill. It's a fantastic hilly park which boasts amazing views over London, the perfect place to picnic and watch the world go by.

"I enjoy walking along the canal, past the zoo and picnicking at the highest point overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city below. If you feel like splashing out on your picnic, the adults should indulge in some pink champagne, the luxurious accompaniment to a tasty picnic hamper.
